Your hair & results

Will it damage my hair?
Because Pro Blo isn't a heated tool, your hair never has hot metal clamped onto it. You simply blow-dry each section with the brush using your own hairdryer — so there's far less direct, concentrated heat than tongs or straighteners. Keep your dryer on a medium heat and moving rather than aimed at one spot, and a heat protectant is always a smart step.

Will it work on my hair type?
Yes — Pro Blo works across most hair types and textures. Finer hair styles fastest, while thick, long or coarse hair gets the best results from a set with more and larger barrels. Not sure which to choose? Take our quick quiz.

How long does the blowout last?
With the right technique, a Pro Blo blowout can hold for several days. To make it last: work in sections, blow-dry each section fully until it's 100% dry, and — the key step — let it cool completely on the barrel before you unwind it so the curl sets. Go easy on heavy oils at the root.

Do I use it on wet or dry hair?
Start by rough-drying clean hair to around 70–80% — not soaking wet. Then blow-dry each section with your Pro Blo brush until it's 100% dry, especially at the roots. Once a section is completely dry, roll it up onto the barrel, unclip the handle and leave it to cool. That cool-down on the barrel is what sets the shape and gives you smooth, long-lasting volume.

Which barrel size should I choose for my hair length?
As a guide: smaller barrels create tighter curls and volume and suit shorter hair, while larger barrels give looser, bouncy waves and big volume and suit longer hair. Using & caring for your set

What hairdryer heat should I use?
Pro Blo itself has no heat settings — the barrels aren't heated. Instead, blow-dry each section with the brush using your own hairdryer on a medium heat, moving it along the section rather than blasting one spot with direct heat. Once the section is 100% dry, roll it up onto the barrel and let it cool before unwinding to help the curl set.

How do I clean and care for it?
Remove any loose hair from the barrels after use, then wipe them with a slightly damp cloth and let them dry fully before storing. There's nothing electrical to worry about — just keep the barrels and handle clean and dry.
